Phu Quoc is a very mountainous and densely forested Island of 1320 sq km, its 48 km in length from south to north and has a population of approx. 80,000 people. Situated in the Gulf of Thailand 45 km west of Ha Tien on the Vietnamese mainland and 15 km south of the coast of Cambodia, Phu Quoc is ringed with some of most beautiful beaches and best seafood in Vietnam. Phu Quoc Island served as a based for French missionary Pigneau de Behaine from the 1760-80s and at one time he provided shelter here for Prince Nguyen Anh (later Emperor Gia Long) when he was being hunted by the Tay Son rebels. During the Vietnam war there was little fighting here but the Island was used by the Americans as a prison for captured Viet Cong.
Day 1 : Sai Gon - Phu Quoc
Pick up and tranfer to Tan San Nhat airport for boarding to Phu Quoc on flight VN 479 ( 10h15am - 11h15am ). Pick up and transfer to your resort. Enjoy your private beach in the afternoon. Overnight in Sai Gon _ Phu Quoc resort.
Day 2 : Phu Quoc ( Swimming in the South ) ( B,L )
Breakfast at hotel. the same morning, drive to An Thoi port, visit the Australian pearl farm on the way to the Southern island. Arrive the An Thoi port, embark the fishing boat to an thoi archipelago. Drop the anchor in a quite bay, angling to cacth few more Garrupas, snappers,... Lunch with special barbecue seafood. After disembarking, drive to the Sao beach for your relaxion on the hammocks. Visit the Ham Ninh fishing village on the way back to the hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Day 3 : Phu Quoc ( Natural forest in the North ) ( B,L )
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to the North to discover the prmitive forest thenvisit the black peppers platation at Khu Tuong, sightseeing at Phu Quoc national park. Enjoy swimming at the Dai beach. Lunch. Return to your hotel. Free at leisure in the afternoon. Overnight in hotel.
Day 4 : Phu Quoc - Sai Gon ( B,L )
Breakfast at hotel. Free until transfer to airport for boarding to Hochiminh city on flight VN 480 ( 14h30 - 16h30 ). End of services
